It’s almost July and that means the start of a new planner. While most people get a fresh planner every January, many planner people opt for an 18-month life planner from Erin Condren, which starts in July.
This year there were quite a few changes that many people are still talking about. I’ve been in need of a planner so I couldn’t wait to do a pre-order. The new changes, however, made it a bit of a challenge. There’s new paper that’s thicker than the previous paper. Because of this I went with a 12-month planner so I have enough room to grow into the planner and use stickers. They changed the neutral game. The vertical planner doesn’t have the box for the header, the hourly dates doesn’t have the black interior, and the horizontal doesn’t have the black strips. The monthly view in the neutral is a lot better and gives you more of a clean slate. This allows you so many options, as does the weekly pages. While I prefer the old paper, I think I can definitely get used to the new one.
I went a different route for this year, and chose the neutral hourly planner. I like having the lines to write on, it’s easier to have this as one big to-do list, and I’m able to manage my time better by having the hourly. I’m looking for some planner peace, and get my life better organized, and I think this is going to help me achieve that. I also had some coupon codes and credits so I chose a nicer planner cover and the rose gold coil, basically I spent a good $15 extra and I’m so happy with my purchase.
Erin Condren planners are not cheap. I’m not going to lie or dance around that. They start at $55 and go up based on the planner cover, length (18-month is an extra $5), if you want a color coil. Not to mention she offers some great accessories for your planner! If you’re new the planner world, I have a $10 off your purchase when you use my referral code. Once you sign up you’ll get your discount code and the option to offer people your own referral code. It’s actually a great offer from the company.
Even with the price, I’ve never found a planner that works for me like the Life Planner from Erin Condren. I highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the market for a new planner!
