Cruelty Free Brand Spotlight – Wet N’ Wild

Cruelty Free Brand Spotlight – Wet N’ Wild

One of my blogging goals is to do brand spotlights, and I want to narrow it more by focusing on brands that are cruelty-free. The first brand I’m doing a spotlight on is a drugstore favorite, Wet N’ Wild. Everything from the brand is super affordable, they often have coupons in the Sunday newspaper, and you can find them on sale quite often. Not to mention people rave about the quality of their products. I even mentioned them in my Best Drugstore Finds blog post!

Their Best Face Products

One of their most recent launches, the Foundation Fond De Teint is creating a lot of buzz, and with good reason! This is by far the best foundation that I’ve used from the drugstore. Hands down! The formula is high-end quality, my skin looks amazing when I wear it, and it lasts all day without looking greasy on me. To go with the foundation is the Photo Focus Pressed Powder that reminds me a lot of the MAC Mineralize Skin Finish, only it’s more affordable. I actually like this powder more because it looks more natural on me.

Give Your Cheeks the Perfect Color and Glow

Their cheek products are just as strong. The Color Icon Bronzer is really nice but wasn’t the right shade for me. It was just a little too orange for me. The product itself is really nice. It blends easily and has nice pigmentation to it. The drugstore doesn’t have many options when it comes to bronzers, and Wet ‘N Wild is definitely doing something right.

The Color Icon Ombre Blush in The Princess Daiquiries is really nice, but not my favorite. It’s a little too pink for me. My cheeks have a natural pink flush so I tend to stay away from strong pink blushes since it can be a bit much for me. I absolutely love the MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in Precious Petals. I’m not a big highlighter person, but this is just nice. It gives you a gorgeous highlight, it’s smooth and not chalky, and lasts throughout the day on me.

Since we’re on the subject of highlighter, I’m enjoying the Ultimate Brow Highlighter in Highlight of My Life. This is great if you want something to liven your eyes and help make you look more awake thanks to the green tea extract, which provides antioxidants and nutrients.

Lip Products Just As Good As The High-End Brands

I’ve never been a big user of lip liners until this summer. I love applying them and a gloss over them and heading out. Sometimes I even just wear the lip liner and it looks great. The Perfect Pout Gel Lip Liners are so nice. They don’t tug or pull at the lips when you apply them, they’re insanely pigmented, and they just feel nice. I have the shades Never Petal Down (a bright pink), Bare to Comment (nude), and Red the Scene (red).

At the last minute, I picked up the new Gel Lip Balm after seeing rave reviews on YouTube. I went with the shade 952 Shock because I knew it’d be sheer so I don’t mind a bold shade. These feel amazing on the lips! They’re sheer, super moisturizing, and just an overall great lip balm. It’s not the absolute best I’ve tried, but definitely the best from the drugstore.

When it comes to Wet ‘N Wild you really can’t go wrong. The price point is amazing, the products are high in quality, and they’re cruelty-free. I can’t wait to get my hands on more products to try out!

What are your favorite Wet ’N Wild products? Anything I should try out and review?
